Francois Steyn Unleashes The Fury With An Unbelievable Drop Goal

Some say his hair is the source of all his powers, not to mention, the dollies love him, but could Francois Steyn have just kicked the longest drop goal in rugby history?

We've all seen his boot (and his mop) in action plenty times while he played for The Sharks and the ultimate Boks, like in a certain Sharks vs Brumbies game where he kicked the ball just short of 100m or the time he converted three penalties for the Boks during a Tri Nations game against the All Blacks from within his own half, the boy certainly has a bit of power in those legs.

Just incase you are wondering why you haven't seen him for a while, back in April 2009 he signed a €750 000 per season, two year deal to play for Paris based, Racing Metro (don't ask me where they got that name) in their Top 14 Tournament, obviously the French wannabe version of Super 14.

And on Friday night during a game against Clermont he did this... observe...

Can you say, what the fuck was that? yes, that over there was about a 60m drop goal 🙂

Well thats our boy... look at him go! 🙂

[Thanks Dwayno]

You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
