Guess Who Is The New Cell C Sharks Captain?

The Cell C Sharks Director Of Rugby, Mr. Gary Gold announced today, the appointments of Captain and Vice-Captain for the 2016 Super Rugby Tournament...

The appointment of Captain goes to none other than the super calm and collected, long running member of the Cell C Sharks, KwaZulu-Natal thoroughbred and also Springbok, Patrick Lambie.
“Pat’s records and performances over the years speak volumes about the calibre of player he is.  He is a natural born leader, who has shown on numerous occasions that he possesses all of the qualities needed to be a great captain, especially captaining a team he has supported all his life.“Both Pat and I are aligned with our vision to take the Cell C Sharks forward and I respect and admire his commitment to Sharks rugby, he has my full support and backing.”“Pat has earned the respect of his fellow players and management alike and he’s a tough competitor that leads by example.  I have no doubt that his presence and commitment shown on the field will inspire and motivate the players around him”,
Said Gary Gold on his decision.Speaking on his new role within the squad, New Cell C Sharks Captain, Pat Lambie said,
“It is a huge honour for me to be involved in the leadership group at the Cell C Sharks.  For as long as I can remember, I’ve come to KINGS PARK to watch my team play.“Firstly to play for the Cell C Sharks and secondly to be considered as a leader is amazing, and a dream come true.”“There is a good mixture of youth and experience in the squad.  We will all be working together with positivity and eagerness, making sure the team always comes first.”
Supporting Captain Lambie in the position of Vice-Captain will be fellow Springbok, Marcel Coetzee.Speaking on his decision to appoint Marcel Coetzee as Vice-Captain, Gary Gold said,
“Marcell’s tenacity and fighting spirit will compliment Pat’s captaincy approach and he will fit into the the captaincy role with ease when called upon, in the absence of Pat"

If I could sum myself up in one quote, I believe Steve Jobs said it best… “Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes, the ones who see things differently, they’re not fond of rules. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
