This Is The Springbok Team To Face The All Blacks At Ellis Park – 05/10/2013

The Springbok team to face the All Blacks in the Rugby Championship clash at Ellis Park this Saturday has been announced...

Following on from last Saturday's ownership of the Aussies at Newlands in Cape Town, this is your Springbok side that will meet the All Blacks once again in this monstrous clash for the Rugby Championship, this is the big one, following the total balls up of a game at Eden Park, thanks of course to one particular Romain Poite, the boks are going in in full force... and its at the place the All Blacks hate the most... Ellis Park 🙂Springbok Starting Line Up: Zane Kirchner, Willie le Roux, JJ Engelbrecht/Jan Serfontein, Jean de Villiers (capt), Bryan Habana, Morne Steyn, Fourie du Preez, Duane Vermeulen, Willem Alberts, Francois Louw, Juandre Kruger, Eben Etzebeth, Jannie du Plessis, Bismarck du Plessis, Beast Mtawarira. On The Bench: Adriaan Strauss, Gurthro Steenkamp, Coenie Oosthuizen, Franco van der Merwe, Siya Kolisi, Ruan Pienaar, Patrick Lambie, Jan Serfontein/Juan de JonghMost notably as mentioned last week, Bissie is back in the starting line up and congrats to Beast who receives his 50th cap in the Bok jersey this Saturday, I'm sure it'll be one to remember. Oh and it appears Ritchie McCaw is back to lead his side out... There's no doubt their haka which will be absolutely drowned out on Saturday 🙂Your Referee for Saturday: Nigel OwensThis is what Sport24 had to say about the assignment... seems promising 🙂
South Africa have no special reason to fear the Welshman’s influence with the whistle. Although he comes from the near-unpronounceable Welsh village of Mynyddcerrig, he speaks relatively plain English, which is a good start. The Boks have won six of their nine Tests he’s taken charge of, including two of three against the All Blacks, and there have been no infuriating SA grievances a la Bryce Lawrence, Paul Honiss or the aforementioned Monsieur Poite. Here’s praying that doesn’t change on Saturday.

You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
